Hey @lanadu67
Glad you liked it :+1:t2:

I just bought this charger and I have couple of questions about Fast charging.

I have a samsung s10+. What’s weird is it seems to be really inconsistent with whether it fast charges or not and the time difference is substantial.

Sometimes when I place phone on wireless pad it will fast wireless charge, other times not.

Same with with the usb-C port and the usb-A port fast wired charging and not wired charging.

Sometimes unplugging and plugging it back in will fix it other times you can unplug/plug a dozen times and it’ll never say fast charging. The phone isn’t the issue, because if I plug it into wall charger with the same cable like the original or my anker powerport speed 5 it’ll go right to fast charging. I’ve also tried different cables.

Is this normal? or did I get defective battery? Is there some way to fix this problem?

Is this a consequence of it using usb-pd/power iq instead of qualcomm quick charge/samsung adaptive fast charge.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

p.s. I like the stand and plan to use it on my next plane trip.

Hey @Max_Siegler
I have this PowerCore and have not had any issues and it gets regular use.
You should reach out to the retailer or Anker support at support@anker.com

@paulstevenewing what phone are you using? Are you saying when you plug in or use wireless it goes straight to fast charging /fast wireless charging?

hmm maybe I should just exchange it through amazon since I just bought it.

Question Paul:
Is this “it’s gets” the same when I write : “it is getting” or “It’s getting” ?

Old men need to be educated always.
Enjoy the week my friend.

Hey @Max_Siegler
I’m using the S20Plus.
And yes, it goes to fast charging without an issue both wirelessly and wired.
Just to note, it’s “fast” charge, not “super” fast charge.

Personally I would go through Amazon for an exchange but opinions vary here and from location to location whether they get a better service from Anker direct or the reseller.
Just to add, I haven’t had problems with Anker direct but have found Amazons response to come through quicker.
I’m in the UK.

Hey Franz good spot.
“It’s gets” is incorrect.
It should have been “it gets regular use”
You could use either of your examples .

In hindsight the sentence should have read;
I have this PowerCore, it is used regularly, and i have not had any issues with it.

But the beauty of language is there are so many suitable alternatives its hard to tell what is right anymore! :sunglasses:

Alles klar Paul!

When is the match UK : DE?
But you know I am not a football fan at all.
All millionaires now and even more.
I remember the good old times of
Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller and Bobby Charlton!
And I never forget Wembley 1966!

Tomorrow 5pm GMT kick-off.
I’m not a fan either but I will watch the Euro and World Cup matches.
What will the score be Tomorrow?
I think it will be a slow game with only 1 goal, and I’m tempted to put my money on Germany.

I really dont know Paul.
The Germans won one match at Wembley.
But this in 1966 still really hurts!
