I have to “normal” Flares.
The are great being connected in stereo mode.

Flare 2 or regular flare, is stereo mode an alternative mode to partycast?

I am still constantly tempted with the new Flare 2, but just can’t manage to convince myself.
Maybe summer parties will tempt me to hit the “buy” button.

Can get a two pack here from Costco for $150… still contemplating if that’s a good deal or not…

Two regular Flares.
As there are no parties in a pensioner’s home there is no need to have
Partycast.
I use these in my tiny pensioner’s office in front of me.

Sometimes we do, simple eggs and a rasher of bacon.
Often toast or sourdough crumpets (home made)

It really depends on where you use it Paul.
I installed the flares always in a steady place.
Dont carry around these.
But for parties the Flare 2 (Partycast) could be better.
I dont really know.
And these Flare 2 got more power.
This is the loudness I use with the motion + at the moment.
Enough for the little pensioner’s office (16 sqm) !

Partycast is relatively new. Almost all (if not all) soundcore speakers that don’t have partycast has stereo pairing capability. This include Flare and Flare Mini that can stereo pair to each other as well
