Two Chargers Different Results

Anker Elite USB Charger, Dual Port 24W Wall Charger, PowerPort 2 with PowerIQ and Foldable Plug

I’ve used both chargers to charge my iPhone SE. With the 60 Watt 6 Port my iPhone gets warm almost hot. The Dual Port is much cooler, not even warm. I’ve used different ports on the 6port charger same result. I had to send back one phone for a swelled battery so I’m very concerned this may happen again. Same Company, different result. What do you think is causing the problem?

Too much power. It’s the only reason a battery gets so hot it swells. … Well one of a very small list of reasons.

If I remember, your packaged charger is 1amp, and your using a lot lot more than that with both these chargers. Your phone wasn’t designed for quick or smart charging, and it seems it’s just sucking.upnall the power it can, and thus getting really hot n swelling.

I suggest a smaller output to charge your phone.
