on which time zone is the site synchronized? I ask for giveaways, which start every Monday. in Italy we are already at Tuesday, it would be appropriate to specify the timezone. thanks.

Community clock runs per the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Most (almost all) contests end or have the deadline per the the US Pacific PST/PDT time.
