I have a lot of products but as I have moved house so many times I’ve binned the packaging.
I’ve got 2 or 3 of everything.

Nice nice it have some boxes of the newer products or ones I forgot to throw out but I wouldn’t say my collection is huge but it’s decent in size

I wish I had room to store boxes… One of the issues of living in California without a sizeable paycheck (yet) haha
Same here in Germany.
Some parts a much cheaper to live than others.
München is extremely expensive (rents etc.)
But we own our house, so we are really happy
Many pensioners are suffering from the high costs of living.
All the same all over the world.
I’m glad that you own your home! Would definitely be a challenge still having to pay rent otherwise.
I’m looking forward to owning a home, but at the rate that home prices are skyrocketing in the desirable cities to live in, it’s going to be a challenge.

Which city do you wish to live in?
Well I’m currently in San Diego, but based on family would like to stay in San Diego, or be in either Los Angeles or the SF Bay Area.

Trying to not write a thesis.
You have a choice: do 1 thing well or 5 things badly.
Focus.
I moved to San Francisco and rented. I thought it unaffordable to buy (like you now) but I focused on that and solved it.
I know San Diego, seems nice but those big ships…
As to method: “you make your money when you buy”, while prices seem high are they only are on average. In amongst the sellers are the desperate. Just invest the time to see all what is being sold, the lower cost are selling fastest so you just have to be fast yourself.

This could work, but it depends on your luck.
You will never find here in München something favorable by reading the announcements in the internet and the newspapers.
Works only with hints from friends and with estate agents (you have to know privately).
Otherwise no chance to find something at well sought positions.
Eg. you will find houses in the eastern part of Germany for a “song”.
But where these are?
We say : “Wo sich Fuchs und Hase “Gute Nacht” sagen”
or better " Am A*sch der Welt"
