Soundsync won't pair

I have been messing with this for days now and can’t get the Anker device to show up in Bluetooth, the only way I have been able see it is by pressing the pair button and plus for 3 seconds, turns purple, and thats it, says it can’t pair, have tried holding for 10 seconds to reset but has not helped either, just bought this thing and thinking about Taking it back if I can’t get any answers

I’m having the same problem with my unit! Pulling my hair out trying to figure something out. I’ve tried all I can think of.
