Soundcore Mini should not disconnect when powered

Hi, just bough the little speaker to get audio on my mini desktop computer but even if the usb cable is connected to power the speaker it will disconnect after some time.

This makes the speaker totally useless for an application like that. Is there a trick or an update to disable the auto shutoff when power is connected?

How do you connect it to the desktop - Aux or Bluetooth.?
Is the Desktop powered ON & operational all the time?

If via BT - One trick is to keep playing a repeated silent music file - will keep the connection enabled all the time, and then you can play any other music.(this is not greatest of ideas… but does the trick)

I need to test myself with Icon mini if keeping the Aux plugged in, if the speaker stays ON,

Hi, I do not have any audio connector on that mini Intel PC so I must use Bluetooth or direct USB.

I will try the trick for now thanks but would be nice for the speaker to remain On when there is power.

glad, please let us know how it goes!

Isn’t there a cable added for AUX?
So you could connect to another device to test.

Tried SoundKeeper but it does not work. I cannot even see the app in the mixer so I guess it’s not working well. So I’m running Audacity in loop mode with a blank file… I can only select the device Headphones (SoundCore Mini Stereo) to play, the other one HeadSet (SoundCore Mini Hands-free) will fail to open. But the Stereo device has poor sound there is always noise I can hear no matter what I play on that device. I also do not get why there are two devices and why names like HeadSet and Headphones!

Soundcore mini also has noise cancelling microphone and can be used for voice calls with smartphone.

Try to create a silent file of 1~2 seconds with audacity and play with windows media player (.wav) and it should work fine.

For music you should always choose the Soundcore Mini Headphones on Windows
