I’ve previously owned an Oontz Angle and an AmazonBasics Mini Bluetooth speaker, but the Soundcore mini’s sound quality and volume blows them both away. I purchased the mini specifically to have a portable speaker that could play music off a microSD card so I didn’t have to drain my phone battery with streaming music.
I wasn’t expecting much from a speaker the size of half a soda can, but the first time I turned it on I was impressed by both the volume and sound quality.
The only drawbacks I’ve discovered is the stiffness of the spring for the microSD card slot and the fact it doesn’t remember the last mode when you turn it on. I thought I was going to break my microSD card trying to seat it in the speaker. And having to switch it back to the SD card mode every time I turn it on is a minor inconvenience.
Overall however it’s a fantastic little speaker with amazing features for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone and may buy a second one for work.
