Soundcore Liberty Air Featured on CNN

Check it out:

Go Liberty Air! I’ve got the lites, maybe it’s time to invest in these. The Mic on the lites is not good enough for me, but I hear these are better.

“Plus with IPX5 water protection (on the earbuds and case)”

This isn’t true. The case has no water resistance.

“third-party brands like Anker can’t really replicate the easy pairing experience that AirPods offer”

I disagree. I have beatsx (also the w2 chip) and I find the liberty air to connect just as easily.

Airpods offer something that liberty don’t. Using either bud independently.
Does that feature worth 2x the price. Possibly…
If Liberty can add that feature with sub $100 that will be a game changer.

The Liberty lites can be used independently. Seems like that shouldnt be so hard.

If I was deep in the Apple Ecosystem and could afford spending $150 on a pair of earbuds, I would probably go with the AirPods but since I only have iPhone and no other Apple device, I would opt for cheaper alternative regardless of how much money I have. The Air does disappoint a little with the master/slave setup

Tell me more about that. Does it works independently without breaking pairing?

Yeah. You just grab one out of the case, it pairs, then it works on its own. I ise it all the time to discreetly listen to voicemails or audio messages  I jave talked to somebody else on the community that does this too was it you @tank ?

Nice. Time to get liberty lite then :smirk:

Correct, except I do this with the liberty Neo

The buds were so easy to pair.

1, download the app
2, turn on bt
3, open the case … When you open the case they pair.

Nice to see the article, thanks for sharing. These are in my wishlist.

Yeah it really is just a matter of use case. I only really use my Air’s with my phone and by the time I take them out of the case and put em in my ears, they’re paired and ready to go!

Wait, Liberty Air are the only anker buds that use the master/slave setup?

No, all the wireless earbud offerings do, but some can be paired separately. And if you have dual bluetooth audio you can pair them separately and get even better battery life
