Soundcore Liberty Air case alignment problem?

I have been using my liberty air for a few weeks now, and really like them. I have Noticed one big problem, and was wondering if anyone else has Noticed this.

The lid on the case, isn’t aligned to the base of the case. The lid is slightly farther back on the base. This means there is a slight lip on the front of the case, as well as the back.

It also is putting strain on the plastic covering the hinge on the back.

None of these problems really show up on photos, so ik not going to include any…

Has anyone noticed/experienced this problem?

I have not had this issue with the liberty air, but I have had this issue with another company that has a product similar to the liberty air. The problem arose when I had it in my pocket and I bumped into the kitchen counter, it was just enough to force the cover to be off alignment. I tried to push it back and align it, which did work for a bit but now is too loose to fix.

In your case you can reach out to support@anker.com and see what they say. It could be a manufacturing defect or not, but they can help determine the course of action to take

It was like this when I recieved it. I wasn’t sure if it was common to have this happen or not…

Definitely not common and to me would be a manufacturing defect then if it arrived like this. Contact them and see what they say

I sent them an email. They won’t replace it, since it’s a prize. Maybe they’ll have a way I can fix it :man_shrugging:

Seems weird how they won’t replace it (if I’m reading you previous right about already having a response from them) as it was delivered in that state, so it sounds like a manufacturing defect…it not like a fault which has appeared after a 6 months of use, in which case yes you might have a harder time with it being a ‘prize’ variation…

Both of my pairs are fine and defect free.

Could of just added an update to your review. But hey ho. More bucks for you

I didn’t think they would (it’s in there warranty) but they said they would indeed replace the charging case! I’m so happy

Next time when you get an item, free or otherwise, always check for any defects and get it fixed right away.
Free items/samples are not covered by Anker 18 month warranty.

So they’re covered under the initial 30 day warranty, but not under the 18 month warranty? Nice

I think there is no implied warranty at all. But if the item is delivered to you defected then it needs to be taken care of.
