SoundCore Boost - No sound

Hello

I have a sound core boost

this connects and plays fine with I iPhone

but with laptop Macbook pro high Sierra

its connects /syncs

then says is connected

makes a beep

but nothing … no sounds

still saying its connected

any ideas ?

You should remove the speaker from the bt list of that macbook first and try a new connection.
Make sure your phone is totally off.

I will add that you may need to change the sound output device on your Mac by clicking the volume indicator in your menu bar. Here’s an example of where to look:

most likely 100% this. I always forget to switch over on my Macbook. It’s kind of annoying…

This switch must be done using LINUX also.
I never thought that such a sophisticated, archaic switch has to be done under Mac-OS as well. :rofl:
