SoundCore 2 without a sound just after 12 months using it eventually

Hi there.
I bought a SoundCore 2 from aliexpress approximatelly a year ago.
I always liked the sound it has. It’s so clear! Apart from the battery, which is powerful.
Unfortunately, since last week the sound just stopped coming out from the speakers and it occured when I was enjoying a song. I did not do anything different, there was not a specif sake event. It just stopped.

I contacted Anker support team that suggested me to do some procedures, like trying using a aux cable, hold the BT buttom for 3 secs etc, etc. I sent them a video demonstrating the problem but what I got from them was a offering of 40% refund, which obviouslly is not enough.

Has anyone here had this problem? If yes, could kindly share the resolution???

Tks a lot. I am very disappointed of what I got from the Anker support team.

Have you tried to play music over BT while the Soundcore 2 is in charging mode? May be the battery is the issue, do let us know

I tried it now and there is no sound… The battery is 100% charged. It connects properly in any device but the sound doesn’t come out

Have you tried using different source using Aux, or may be BT source from different smartphone.

Most probably the steps Anker Soundcore have were to factory reset the Soundcore 2 and since it has not worked, may be its gone dead.

I wouldn’t expect that even from the worst sound speaker… My god

@AnkerOfficial can you suggest?

What are you using to connect to the speaker via bluetooth? If its a phone, then delete the bluetooth profile and clear your bluetooth cache and restart your phone. Then try to repair it to the speaker, make sure in the bluetooth profile its selected as audio. Turn the volume up on your phone and do the same for the speaker and report back

@Thiago_Rubira Have you tried a firmware flash / update on the SoundCore 2?

Might be worth a shot as besides making sure your on the latest available firmware, it would also complete a hard reset of the speaker which may kick it back to life.

Details of how to update and the firmware itself can be found here;

Hi. I did that not only on my Cel phone but also on tablet and the smart box. The connection is perfect. Even the play button works well as a microphone. It receives all commands
