Soundcore 2 problem while charging and using AUX Cable

Hi,

i have a problem with my new Anker Soundcore 2. Im using it with my nintendo switch, If i connect the switch with the Anker SoundLine 3.5 mm AUX Cable to the Soundcore 2 everything is fine. But when i try to charge the soundcore at the same time i have interference. Its a very loud acoustic noise. As soon as i unplug the USB cable its gone.

I tried the cable which was given with the soundcore and 2 others but still the same problem. I also tried to charge with my computer and monitor usb port.

Any ideas hopefully somedbody can help me

This is unfortunately an issue with many speakers I’ve used due to electrical interference. The SoundCore 2 can get up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, so perhaps you could use an outlet timer (something like this) to only charge the SoundCore 2 at night when you’re not playing the Switch?

You can always get this Xshine Pack of 10 Snap on Ferrite Core RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Filter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075B5BZRZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1H4BAbMX8Q06X
and see if it helps suppress the interference, they have worked great for me in the past. You just clip them on to the cable near the input/output of the cables .

@TechnicallyWell Thanks for your reply, really appreciate it. @cubish2k Yes, the electrical interference happens when the aux cable and USB charging cable plugged in the same time (they are too close). If possible, please using the Bluetooth mode when the speaker is charging or disconnect the charging cable once the speaker fully charged. If you have any quality problem of the SoundCore 2 speaker, please feel free to contact us via support@anker.com. Thanks.
