Hello Dear Support Team;
I’m trying to connect my headset to my cell phones.I’m using two cell phone for that I need to connect both of two devices at same time.This is a necessary feature This feature is supported cheaper even bluetooth headsets.
SoundBuds Life Connecting to Two Cell Phone
Are you speaking in terms of talking to two different parties through one set of ear buds at the same time? I can’t see how that would be possible as that would also have to allow you to play music from two sources through one headset.
Or do you do you just want two devices paired at the same but only using one at a time?
The Soundbuds Life are stated to pair to 8 devices in their memory. This means that you can use them on 8 different devices without unpairing. However, this does not mean you can use 2 devices simultaneously. This is not a feature that even cheaper bluetooth headsets can do. With that in mind, if you have an issue with pairing to each device individually and the manual is not assisting you, I would recommend reaching out to anker support with your issue, they are very helpful.
Once you have paired the buds to all the devices, they will automatically connect the last connected device. To make them connect to a different device press and hold vol up+down together on the right side and you’ll hear a bleep then connect to the other device.
They do not connect to all devices or all devices in range of you can keep connected to one and then make it also connected to another.
Hi @m.mutlu,
Thanks for your question.
But our Bluetooth headset does not support connecting two mobile phones at the same time.
OP hasn’t responded but I’m going to guess what he means is that he wants the headset to be paired with two devices at the same time, not connected at the same time. I say this because my SoundBuds Curve cannot seem to pair it to two devices at the same time. If I pair it to Device A, then I can use it with Device A. If I then pair it to Device B, I can use it with Device B. If I then try to use it with Device A again, it won’t connect or even see the headset in the Bluetooth settings. I need to un-pair the existing pairing and re-pair it. However, I can then no longer use it with Device B without doing the same thing. Back and forth, ad infinitum.
Being able to pair a BT device to multiple devices is a basic feature I have found in every BT device I’ve ever owned.
I have the soundbuds surge and I can pair it to both of my phones and switch between them without having to forget and repair them. All I have to do is turn bluetooth off on one and the other picks it up.
