The headset work great - however if I charge then and then turn them off, they will have no battery a few days later e.g. I always have to charge then right before use.

Hi @Kasper_Damso , the SoundBuds should be able to retain charge for quite a period of time (within a suitable temperature range), so it’s possible you may have a defective pair. I would suggest you reach out to support@anker.com with your purchase date, serial and issue so they can assist under your warranty.
Out of curiosity what sort of playback times are you getting once fully charged?
