When I do the whole reset, as in putting the two earbuds in the charger and pressing the buttons on them until they reset, the right side does what it is supposed to. The left side blinks white once and then blinks red three times. I don’t see anything about the three red in the user manual. Maybe I missed it in there. I tried googling it but that also was fruitless.
When I try to use them, only one side will give audio. I have to connect each one to the device and then only one appears to capture the audio, so I am assuming they are not pairing like they should.
Anyone have any idea what the 3 red blinks are?
Souncore Life P2 odd problem when resetting
The three blinking red light is the earbuds resetting. Soundcore in the manual says to
-
Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged (this would be a steady white to charge or off if they are fully charged)
-
press and hold the button on both earbuds for 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash red 3 time and then turn white (this is what you have on the left earbud)
When you say the right earbud does what it’s supposed to what would that be because it sounds like the left earbud is doing the right thing. Also which earbud works when you connect. I would try cleaning the contact points on the case and on the earbuds and make sure they are sitting properly with the case charged to make sure they are actually charging (step one of the reset) if they are both then charging (steady white light) then I would try resetting again (might take a couple of tries to get right).
You can also try this as I have done this with the Spirit dots a couple of times. Resetting them outside the case which I have not tried this with the p2 as I have gave those to my son and niece.
Hold both in hand. Push button until they turn red. See if that works. I know that with the Spirit dots, I have a time resetting them and found that I could get a better reset in my hands than in the case.
