Smart Power

Image rushing out of the house and being alerted to take your Anker PowerCore because your phone was low on battery.

I’ve lost count of the number of times that I’ve left home only to find that my phone was low on battery and I didn’t have a charger with me. An Anker app that can monitor my phone’s battery life and alert me when I leave my home location would be a huge benefit, especially if it could be extended to remind me where I left it and remind me to recharge it when I got home.

I know that I could just be more organised, but where’s the fun in that.

This never could happen to me.
Neanderthaler I am, I got no such mobile.
That’s really true and I am still alive.

When I was in my job, I was asked often :
How can we contact you? -> Write me an email, or contact me via fixed line network.
And it worked perfectly.
What a quiet life I have!

I think this can be done with some kind of IFTTT…with added tweaks…

That was my initial thinking, but I couldn’t find a way to expose the phone’s battery to include in a recipe.

So maybe when leaving the house after a certain time and the phone being below a certain percentage the app would alert you?

Oho, this would be a real improvement.

I normally I use these ones, (Read only!!!) :joy:

Another option is “Shortcuts” on iOS, and with iOS 14, the automations can run “without user input”…

i will give it a try today and let you know :crossed_fingers:

I always leave house with a Powercore.

Phone never flat.
