I’m beginning to think that Anker’s line up of batteries is getting convoluted and confusing. For example, there’s the PowerCore 10000, PowerCore 10000 with Quick Charge 3.0, PowerCore 10000 Speed with QC, and PowerCore+ 10050 (also with QC). This is getting ridiculously confusing. Do you agree?
Should Anker Simplify Their Battery Lineup?
I feel their pain. For every person asking for a new combination it produces the broad list.
I don’t have QC devices so I dont care but if I had a QC device I’d care. I see the problem, it is basically created by the lack of common charging tech.
I have this irksome USB-C problem I have to carry a Powerport5 with 1 USB-C for my USB-C tablet and the 4 USB2 for the other devices.
Totally agree. They need a consistent naming convention. It takes a long time to figure out what to buy.
I am with you. but not only Anker do this everyone on same page.
Probably the models and naming could be charged to help. The number of new charging technologies isn’t going to decrease any time soon either so the problem is only going to get worse.
I agree. It is very confusing to have the overlap in the lineups without clear distinctions. Right now it takes a some effort to open up all the similar items and compare them.
obviously products with more letterings are cooler and badass. But the regular PowerCore 10000 just has Anker’s IQ tech. The QC is only Qualcomm Quickcharge, the Speed model includes IQ QC and VoltageBoost. The other one is higher capacity.
