Setting username and password for RTSP

I just received a bunch of new Eufy Indoor Cam 2K T8400. I enabled RTSP which was easy enough, but could not find a way to set a username and password.

  • Is it supported to set username and password on Eufy cameras?
  • Is RTSP traffic encrypted?

Same problem, my NVR require also username/pass and I cannot leave the form blank.

Can I define in Eufy app username/pass?

Solved, it accepted any combination of username/pass :smiley:

But I think it’s better to have choice to define it - more secure!

Same problem for me as well. I’d like to setup port forwarding so I can access the feed remotely, but I don’t know how I feel about anyone with access to my public IP being able to view the unprotected feed.
