With all the recent news on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 catching on fire and exploding, I was wondering if any of us here owns/owned one. If so, please share some interesting personal stories or your thoughts on the situation.

I’ve read a lot about it on the news and to be honest I am shocked how such a successful company as Samsung could have made such a mistake.
Yep, you would think during their countless hours of testing at least one of their demo phones would’ve went poof, so they could could say ‘hmm, not supposed to do that, back to the drawing board chaps’
Perhaps they spent too much time underwater testing so they never realized…
