Royalty Free Music / Background Music for Review Videos

Now having setup my own blog site for review and more articles, wanted to check on Videos, which brings up question on music / background music for the videos.

Do any of you use or know sites that have royalty free / free to use music which can be used in videos?

Any updates / inputs are much appreciated!

Cheers!

You can just search “copyright free music for videos” and many sites will come up with the kind of music to user looking for.

You can use any song you want as background music, you just have to get the copyright holders permission.

You can go to YouTube and search copyright free music and a ton of playlist will pop up for you to choose from

Thanks @Anjou1888 @Tank for inputs, will check it out

@cshenoy YouTube have their own library of music which you can download from and several copyright free music YouTube channels such as NCS have direct and SoundCloud download availability…

If your not wanting to generate revenue from your videos you can use copyrighted music for testing etc but make sure you check availability using https://www.youtube.com/music_policies?o=U&ar=2 to prevent video being inaccessible in certain territories due to copyright blocks (which I’ve had for even a 5 second test once)

https://youtu.be/c8P8ymG62gQ I have shown people how to add music to iMovie in their videos if this is helpful.

I have used https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music in the past for royalty free music to go over videos. You should note though, that there are conditions on using the free licence. Mainly that you correctly give credit and don’t alter the song (besides editing length). This is common with no cost royalty free licences. Public domain can be used with absolutely no conditions.
