I’ve had a 30C for quite a while now and I recently got an X8 as well. I thought at first this was an issue with the cheaper 30C, but it turns out this is the same with the X8 as well. It will not clean anywhere near the base to clean. What I end up having is a lot of dust and things pushed by the RoboVac to that spot getting built up near the base. The only solution I can find is to either manually sweep up the dust, which isn’t a huge deal, but that’s why I got the RoboVac… OR I can pace a small box over the sensor (or anything that blocks the view of the vac to the base. I like to set it and forget it, so the latter option requires me removing the box before the vac is done. Anyone know of anything I can do besides all the hands on?
