ROAV Viva and connections to Uconnect

I bought the Roav Viva for my husband and he has a 2014 dodge journey. Has anyone been able to successfully connect the Viva.via bluetooth thru the Uconnect system?

I’ve read reviews that people haven’t been able to connect the Viva to their car Bluetooth systems. They ended up connecting the Viva to their phone and then connect the phone to the car system.
