Because my phone was always dying, and Anker was holding a promotion for their powercore rechargable batteries at a very inexpensive price, i opted to buy one. i was fortunate to buy one of these through amazon through a special deal (missed the penny deal, but still got this for more than 50% off (paid $19.99).
I must say that i’m quite impressed with how this battery works. This is an external battery that provides my Samsung S5 so many charges that i barely needed to plug it into the wall charger. I was able to go on a camping trip for a week and brought the external with me. I was able to power my phone for the entire week, as well as my daughters tablet and my wife’s iphone.
For me, that is definitely amazing and brings great value to the table. With the ability to supercharge my devices quickly (utilizing the quick charge port), my phone was fully charged within an hour.
Overall, if you are looking for a power source, consider picking up one of these. They hold an immense amount of power, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it was able to charge some of your larger devices on your camping trip!
