Rave Mini Questions

When pairing 2 Rave Minis, after successful pairing one bluetooth button will be on solid blue and one flashing blue. Which one is the Master? Solid or Flashing? Which one is Right Channel, which one is left?
If after pairing I want to connect to say a audio/video source with a 1/8" TRS cable, which one do I plug into? Assuming it would be the master, will the slave still be getting bluetooth data from the master for true stereo?

On another note, sure wish the manual was a little more concise. With more useful information for use of this wonderful bluetooth speaker system.

PS: Dont need it to be in 20 languages, an option for just my language with more information would be so much more helpful.

Sorry not owning such a speaker.

But funny you were asking about an answer in your language
Which one do you prefer?
We are multilingual here, but we talk usually in English.
But we can do everything for you. :grinning:
PS: English is not my mother tongue.

No german this time? Lol

NEIN!
I could write in Portuguese, if you want me to do.
More fun, as a little bit different from Spanish.
Not difficult to read if written, but to understand hardly if spoken.
Not in Brasil, more clear there…hehehe!

Yea I think Spanish and Portuguese share a few words, maybe not exactly the same but they sound alike

The point is; a multi-language very limited manual is less useful and informative than individual language manuals with more useful information on the use of the Rave Mini would be IMO more beneficial and useful to the end user. I agree manuals in multiple languages are necessary for a product that is sold internationally. It was a side note to make the manual more informative and concise in each of the published languages.

Its fine with me if it has multiple language, but maybe they can expand it a bit by including more info

The solid blue would be the master and the other the slave.
I’m not sure what was on your manual but you can go to Soundcore and click on the rave then click the manual link and it may give you a better description.

Once you have it all figured out you should do a little review/write up on what you think of the speakers used when paired up compared to single use etc.
Stick it up in the review section

Not only a view words.
Latin -> Italian, (French), Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian.

I was taught Latin in school, but I forgot it. Was horrible!

If you would add a manual for all existing languages,
it would be a thick, heavy book!

@firemanjerry Based on the Icon Mini the once you have put them in TWS mode the flashing speaker is essentially the master for connecting to a BT source. You would be able to determine which acts as a left / right channel output by using the Soundcore app or a source that play’s a left / right audio stream such as

As for TWS playing via cable I’ve had a hit and miss experience with successful playback on both speakers, had it working fine on a pair of Soundcore Flare 1st gen speakers but not on a pair of Soundcore Model Zero’s…but this could be due to hardware revisions and firmware…

Indeed!
I know they are useful to some but for me its just more paper wasted as they go in the bin.
Perhaps a card in the box with a web link to the guide written in different languages?

But as @firemanjerry the user information supplied with the products can be lacking at times.

That’s a great idea.
Because the added manuals are a little bit “poor”.
But its difficult to create a manual for all “tastes”
More text? Less pictograms?
Less text, More pictograms?
I write manuals sometimes, but I know me, I am often a “novelist”.

Haha, i agree.
I like pictures as its the same for whatever language, but pictures can only explain the basic processes.
I write training/user guides for some of our customers, a good mix of pictures and text goes down well.
Anker products are generally quite simple when you are familiar with the brand, but for new products and new users i can see where it can get confusing.

Thats quite difficult to find the perfect mixture.
The minority of users (customers) are “sly foxes” or better to say have technical talents
as we here have.
There are really horrible manuals around (NOT ANKER!!!) from other companies, which I got my hands on and tried to improve.
Often I could not get my hands on the items, but you can not imagine in what kind of things I am a “specialist” now!
