Question on Eufy Smart Floodlight Camera

I’m thinking of replacing my backyard porch light with the Eufy Floodlight Camera. Currently the porch light is connected to a light switch which turns the light on/off. I wanted to ask two questions:

  1. Is there a way for me to still use the switch to just turn on/off the flood light by just using the switch?
  2. What happens if the switch is flipped accidentally? How long does the camera/motion sensor take to boot back up? If the camera was recording something at that time, does it still persist to storage?

To address your concern, you can use the switch setting in your app to control the floodnight device.

The retrigger time for the camera you can also setup in the app. Once the device finished the recording, teh events will be saved in the Events page.
