Question difference between Wall Charger and USB charger speed?

I recently purchased a 20000 anker powercore charger.

At the moment i’m charging it, still blinking on the 2nd light after 3-4 hours.

I read that getting a anker usb charger will cut the time by a decent amount. (using a HTC one that came with my phone atm)

But i also saw that there’s wall chargers too, is there any difference in speed if i was to charge my battery?

The charger that came with your phone is an adaptive fast charger for your phone,. But charging anything else from it reverts it to the lowest charging speed which is why it’s taking so long to charge. On average you want a charging plug that can output at a minimum 5v 2a, this will give you around a 8 to 10 hour charge time.

ahh okay the output on these HTC usb are 5v-1a so finding one with 2a will be much quicker?

It would be just slightly quicker, what is the exact model of the battery pack you have? Then I can point you in the right direction to get the fastest charge for it

I think i have a different model number one but it’s the same, PowerCore 20000 /w Quick Charge 3.0, actually bought two one is a gift for my mom. I’m pre charging them now before i wrapped them up for her. But if i can get a usb charger to charge the battery faster i would get them for us too.

Ok so then yes any charger that outputs 5v 2a will charge it at the fastest speed. If you want to stick with Anker, any of their chargers will work
