Quarantined how are you spending your time?

We ended up buying a 1 lb. bag of yeast from Amazon. Made 4 loaves so far. Making 4 more today.

Would you trade some yeast for toilet paper?
My wife got a huge package on friday
Got 4 layers and little elephants printed on.
Really luxury

But shipping from Germany to USA vice & versa makes no sense.
No international tradings!

LOL. I wish shipping was faster and cheaper. Then I’d send everyone yeast.

How’s everyone holding up today?
This quarantine is starting to hurt my wallet as boredom as led to shopping to try to find new ways to stay entertained. And since my hobby is tech we all know that isn’t always the cheapest thing to splurge on.

All set up (3 off) and working great, found the instructions to be more logical than many, but still room to improve.

Just an update folks, my Covid-19 test came back negative. So thats negative for this and the flu, which leads me to wonder which damn viral infection I got. Showed all symptoms and signs of being covid19, but who the heck knows.

Anyway I’m doing much much better now, i still have a slight headache here and there but overall im good. I will be going back to work Thursday night, i work night shift at The Home Depot.

Glad to hear you’re doing better. I wonder if you have the sickness I had several weeks (months) back. That was a terrible sickness

Share in annoyedness.

I had a fever last week, then a few sleeps later feel great. Did I have it, or not?

So I’m washing my hands when I leave the house in case I am infected, and washing my hands on return in case I’m not.

Most people around me feel they had, for reasons you shared, and yet probably few have actually.

So @Tank , you have had the immune wear’n’tear of a different bug, and now must rebuild before the real Covid-19 infection. Rebuild!

I am physically the strongest around here so I am doing all the shopping for others who are not. I am walking carrying the shopping.

Can anyone explain why potatoes are heavier than milk?

Tomorrow: carry a crate of Diet Coke Max 2.4 miles.

Glad to hear that stay safe

Glad to hear your on the mend fella :muscle:

So i think I rushed back to work too soon, mainly because now im sick again. Took friday night off and i been up all night couphing, my lymphatic glands on the right side of my kneck are also swollen. FML, i just hope i can be better by Monday, I dont want to have to burn through all my sick time at work

Sounds like you figured it out you need more rest.

In UK non essential workers who work from home not permitted are allowed to be furloughed on 80% pay, which after tax works average 82% and of course no fuel or other transport costs. Full sick pay.

It’s just boring.

About half the people around here are furloughed, and only healthcare and grocery shop and delivery people out working.

To make it worse, it’s wonderful weather.

You’re in home depot, I just went to an equivalent in UK, there’s a 1 hour wait on website, then it click and collect, I waited to order online, then waited for text then collected, I shouted my order number to the one member of staff who then dropped it at a table.

I work at The Home Depot and were considered an essential business…although most people have been coming in for supplies to do projects around their house while stuck at home.

I got paid for the two weeks i was out prior, but since I didnt have covid19 i have to use my sick time now. But on the plus side they did give me 160 hours of emergency sick time to use. But i really dont want to have to use it now and rather save if in case i really get sick later in in the year.
