q20+ cant connect to xiaomi

Hello,

I bought a q20+ and cant connect it to my xiaomi note 8 pro.
I can see it in the app and also over phone bluetooth, but cant actually connect it to make sounds.

Have you tried restarting your phone and/or clearing the BT cache before trying to pair again?
