Problems with Soundcore Boost

I´m having a real issue with my soundcore boost. Just got a new laptop a few days ago and of course I tried to connect to my bluetooth speaker. But for some reason, everything coming out of it sound like sh*t. So I tried out a few things and I found out that on win 10, there is this issue where you have to deactivate the hands free telephony because it can cause your bluetooth speaker to sound bad - so I tried that out. After that it didn´t sound bad anymore - but only because it didn´t sound at all. My Computer says it is still connected but there is an issue with the drivers (couldn´t find anything wrong after looking into that though) and my bluetooth speaker says it´s not connected at all. Meaning it doesn´t make the sound and the light´s still blinking. Occasionally my Computer also tells me that it can´t connect to the speaker - which would at least make some sense, even though it doesn´t explain why.
I also tried updating the firmware for my soundcore boost but nothing has worked yet. Btw - I also tried connecting the speaker to my phone and it sounded great. Plus, I also had the Soundcore Boost for a while and it never caused any trouble. Does someone have an idea what I could do in order to make it work on my laptop as well?

If you take a further look here at the forum you will find out, that there are ALWAYS issues with bt under WIN10.

Do the following:
Delete that bluetooth driver at your device given by WIN10…
Look for that driver which is offered by the manufacturer of your bt card and install it.

I suppose you have checked the speaker with another bt source and there is no such problem. So it is proved its not the speaker causing such troubles.

Try … Drivers.com the best page on the internet for any drivers needed, or look to the support page of the laptop you bought, as sometimes they’ll have updated drivers there.

Just because W10 says no probs, doesn’t mean they’re not out of date.

@Chiquinho if this old man says so, it is often right… He was there at the beginning with Alan Turing!

The old man is right. I’ve had the same issue on an older Windows 10 Laptop. I also have issues with other Bluetooth speakers from other brands. Its Windows 10. You can delete the driver profile and get the updated version or you can run the speaker via an AUX cable. On one my computers I didn’t want to deal with the update so I used the AUX cable until I made the changes.
