Premium USB-C Hub with HDMI and Power Delivery fail to detect screen

Hi,

I have a Premium USB-C Hub with HDMI and Power Delivery (model number a8342) that I using on a MacBookPro13,2 with a Dell U2715H monitor. The hub has the latest firmware available (0x07)

If i plug the hub into the computer it fails to detect the external display and i have to unplug and plug the HDMI cable in the hub to get the computer to detect the monitor.

Are other experiencing similar problems?

Hi @john7doe, I haven’t been able to reproduce this myself (my computer detects the monitor when I plug the hub into the USB-C port). Would you mind testing with a different HDMI cable, or if the monitor has multiple HDMI ports, try testing it again with one of the other ports?
