Anker has made a Power Delivery page and it seems like the PowerPort Speed 5 has been “updated” but has the same specs.
Does this mean that a PowerPort 5 with PowerIQ 2.0 won’t release? I was really hoping for having a Power Delivery and PowerIQ 2.0 wall charger.
Not yet at least… We’ll probably have to wait for 2018 for that one.
Damn, hopefully, it’ll at least have 45W for Power Delivery instead of 30W.
When do you think PowerPorts will be released with PowerIQ 2.0? Same thing?
Yes @ankerofficial has said that we can expect them next year.
Now if you’re interested in power banks, there’s a chance we’ll see PowerCore+ II 20000 released around the end of the year with 45W USB-C PD and IQ2.
I’d much rather have wall chargers rather than power banks. It’s rare for me to have to charge and not be near an outlet.
2018 is a pretty long timeframe. Would it be early or mid?

We are still waiting on 60W USB-C wall charger and updated car starter that was announced at the beginning of the year…
I wouldn’t count on it until the end of the year, but it could very well be the beginning or somewhere in between!
