PowerExpand+ 11-in-1 USB C Hub - no 4K @ 60Hz

I’ve just recently received the Anker USB C Hub, PowerExpand+ 11-in-1 USB C Hub Adapter and when connected to my 2018 Macbook Pro which supports DP1.4 I can only output @ 30Hz when using 4K.

The hub is advertised as being able to output 4K @ 60Hz, there is also another review on Amazon stating the same issue. Has anyone been able to successfully do this?

I know it’s a new hub, so wondering if there’s any known issues?

first make sure your monitor is set to output DP1.4, some can be switched in their menu settings. Second you want to option+click on scaled in display settings and then select 4k resolution. Then tick the box that says “show low resolution modes” and then change the refresh rate to 60hz and see if that works for you. Also make sure your cable supports 4k @60hz as not all cables do
