Powercore as Raspberry Pi UPS

I was about to order a Powercore to use as a UPS with a Raspberry Pi, but noticed that the FAQs all state that they cannot charge another device while being charged themselves.
Does this mean that there the Powercores do not output anything while plugged in themselves? Or merely that it won’t be enough to charge an external battery?

@richardj I would contact Anker support directly. I believe some of the PowerCore line are capable of serving as a charging hub and can simultaneously charge themselves and gadgets plugged into them.

Or a multiport PowerCore for a farm of PIs?
