PowerCore+ 26800 with 60W charger DOA?

I just received my new Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD 45W with 60W PD Charger, Power Delivery Portable Charger Bundle for USB C .
I plugged it in to charge and nothing happened… No lights, no nothing. I plugged another USB device in and it charged just fine with the same cable.

I then pushed the button, and a single white LED flashes for about 1 second, then nothing. I let it sit and charge for about 2 hours and no change.

I read I should reboot it by plugging USB-C into USB-A port. I plugged it in for 30 seconds then pressed the button, nothing, no light or anything at all.

Ideas? I hope it isn’t DOA. I got it from Anker on Amazon. I love Anker, and have never had any problems with their products before.

All thoughts are appreciated.

Does appear a DoA.

Could be the charger or the Powercore or the cable.

I’m thinking it’s been in a cold place too long since manufacturing and died.

I checked the cable with other devices, as well as the charger, they work fine.

Dang, I wish there were an easy fix.

There is a possible fix but as you’re in warranty I don’t recommend it.

It sounds like this unit spent a long time, at least 3 months, from manufacturing and kept in a too cold a place and it destroyed the Lithium chemistry. You can seek shock it back to working by keeping it warm for a while, the safest place to keep warm is on your physical person, in your pockets.

But if the lithium has had a shock, that will have shortened the product life so you should replace under warranty and hope the next unit is less old or better stored.
