PowerCore 10000 Range - Which One Would You Pick

Hi Anker Community

I’m asking for your help and advice again with your expert knowledge, this time it’s all about the fantastic range of the PowerCore 10000 options. I’m very fortunate to have the PowerCore 20100 which is an absolute workhorse :muscle: it keeps on going. I’m now looking for a smaller, lighter PowerCore to take with me when I’m out and about and the PowerCore 10000 range hits the sweet spot I feel between lightweight but enough power to keep charged up.

However, the choices of the PowerCore 10000 range here in the UK is extensive, Thank You, Anker, for all the options which is impressive but I’m trying to find the best option and would like to ask for your advice for which you might recommend and which maybe you use and found the most useful.

The PowerCore 10000 Range which I’ve found on Amazon UK

Anker PowerCore 10000
Anker PowerCore II 10000
Anker PowerCore Speed 10000 QC
Anker PowerCore Lite 10000
Anker PowerCore II Slim 10000

Wow Anker that is impressive, superb selection, all similar prices too and reading about them they all have their own little niche too. I’ve found it a little hard to single out the one for me so I’m hoping your advice and guidance will help single out the one for me and hopefully anyone else in the community which might be looking at this range now and in the future.

In advance, thank you community :ok_hand:

Curve ball but love it, thanks @amangons

It really depends on what devices you are charging, how many need to charge at a time and whether or not you want slim vs overall size

Thanks, @elmo41683, I will have either an iPhone or a Pixel with me, some earbuds but not sure if I’ll be taking wireless or wired yet. It’s just to have something on the light side to have on me in my backpack throughout the day as my go to backup power bank while travelling.

I can see the usefulness of having a power bank which is future-proofed with quick charge or some kind, especially handy to charge up any phone quickly when you’re out and about would be handy. Also, the luxury of recharging other things which you might have with you like earbuds if needed with the trickle charge, but I don’t think we have a power bank with is an all in one option really need to sacrifice one thing over the other I think.

In that case I would go with the power core II slim as it has power IQ2.0 which is equivalent to Quick charge 2.0 and will charge your devices as fast as possible and will help future proof you to an extent. What you really need is a USB -C power pack with PD so you can fast charge all your devices. But price wise they are not reasonable right now

Thanks @elmo41683 That is super helpful and I think it is super handy to have a fast charge option to help the quickness of the charge. I’ll read a little deep at the reviews and info on this one, many thanks

+1 on everything @elmo41683 said.

Disagree with the other advice. As you’re using iPhone and Pixel now you’re not likely to change ecosystem to a QC device in future. Neither Apple nor Google is using Qualcomm Quick charge, both are heading to USb-C and PD.

So go for the cheapest of any of the existing 10000 products and ignore future proofing paying extra as your past is infering your future will not benefit from QC.

IQ2 = IQ + QC.

Your devices will not charge faster with IQ2 than IQ.

If IQ2 is same or lower price then fine but your story says no point paying extra for IQ2.

The most likely devices in your future will be PD, they are a premium cost currently.

I also challenge your 10000 needs given you own a 20000 now. For pockets I’d recommend either the 5000 Slim or the II 6700. If any of those even lower cost then smaller.

While yes he has and uses a pixel, it can still benefit from charging Power Iq 2.0@18w vs 12w with the normal power IQ. Sure he will benefit from power delivery in either aspect but like I mentioned above it’s at a premium and not worth it for his needs currently. As it becomes more standard the prices will also come down so no need to spend the extra now. Also his iPhone will charge faster as well via IQ2.0 as it’s much faster than the standard 5w charger apple provides

Anker PowerCore II 10000 is what I want but I am poor :sob::sob::cry:
