Powerbank not charging

Hey guys, I recently purchased a powerbank from anker at Amazon and after a couple of light uses the powerbank has stopped charging. I am really annoyed because of this as I travel a lot and use the powerbank for my phone. Is their any solutions to fix this powerbank? The powerbank is Astro E1 5200 mah.

Have you already tried a reset:
Same cable plugged into input and output?

I have already tried to reset it but still it’s not charging. I think this product is definitely faulty as I’ve purchased it recently and kept it safe and secure from water.

try a different micro usb cable for charging, a good quality one. Sounds ridiculous but it helped me when mine quit charging

Does it have warranty. If it does than just exchange it for new one…

Yeh it does have warranty. However, I’m flying out tommorow and use the powerbank to charge up my phone when it drains so getting a replacement which won’t come in time is pretty useless for now but a quick fix would be great as I can use it tomorrow.

Oh. Never mind then.

How have you determined it is no longer charging? You said you tried resetting it, what did you do to try and reset it? You said you tried different cables… Have you tried a brand new cable? Have you tried a different wall plug,;›

@elmo41683 when trying to charge the powerbank and let it for 5 hours it would not charge my phone and no lights were showing up. I tried resetting it using the technique: plugging the usb cable back into the USB port and plugging it back in as if your charging it but that didn’t work. Yes I’ve tried various different cables but nothing happened. Yes I’ve tried to use my laptop and different wall plugs.

It could be the charger or the adapter block. I would recommend trying with different chargers and adapters. Perhaps try a different outlet too. Also try charging through pc.

I have done this but still doesn’t work

I would try plugging a cable into it to charge a d see if moving the cable around gets it to trigger the lights and for it to charge.

Either way your only course of action is to reach out to support@anker.com, provide them with the serial number, order number and let them know what you have done to rectify the problem. Support will assist with exchange if needed

Have you ordered a replacement now?
