PowerBank Anker 8-in-2 USB C Hub not working with second HDMI or AUX to lightning

My USB C Hub just came in (this one) and the lightning audio port only accepts earphones but not speakers (plugged in using Apple AUX to lightning port adapter (this one)) and for some reason connecting a second HDMI cable through an HDMI to USB C adapter into the second USB C port does not work.

What is the reason for this?

The Hdmi issue is because the USB-C data port and USB-A ports do not support charging or media display. Also if you have the newer M1 macbook, it only supports 1 external display via HDMI.

As for the audio, it needs a quick setup in Audio on your Mac, just choose external usb in output and it should work
