I have iPhone 8+ and I am not using a case.
I bought the Power Wave II from Amazon.
It included the cable & wall charger.
It flashes blue straight out of the box.
This same phone was charged on an older version Anker Power Wave for over 1 year.
Is it possible that an iPhone software upgrade caused the phone to no longer be chargeable thru the case?
Software updates usually don’t mess with those things. It might be because the older power wave and the newer one might have different case thicknesses in which they can charge through. Does it charge without the case?
No case. Solution found. Apple support. It is a software glitch but easily repaired by soft reset of iPhone.
Oh that is great news hopefully nothing like this happens again.
