Since I got my power back, I am trying to recharge it but after 1 hour the indicator light turn off showing 4 dots, which means it is full. I try to charge my phone, but it only charge it for one time only and the power bank is drained! Please help. Thanks.
Power core + 20100 brand new charging problems
Hello @georges.r.sader,
sorry that you have a problem with an Anker product.
Please can you tell me more about your phone, your powerbank charger and your charging cable?
You tried it with an other Phone/charger ?
Did you use your phone while charging?
Hello Paul,
I have an HTC one m10, and I am using the same charger for both and it’s working great on my phone ; tried to change the cable and the charger but still the same, and yes I tried to charge my tablet but same problem. As if I am using 25% of the power bank only! Kind regards!
You tried to Charge your Phone when it is Off ?
Same effect ?
How long does it take to charge your powerbank from 0 to 100 % ?
Yes I did. The power bank recharge within one hour, which is very weird!
This is a great time but it’s to fast…
So there is something wrong.
Please contact the anker Support via:
support@anker.com
Please mention the serial number and your Amazon order number there and your problem.
Unless I missed it what kind of charger or using to charge your power bank and devices.
If it’s an oem charger it may not have the power to charge your power bank.
I tried many chargers and tried to charge it on my computer too but same problem!
Your computer cannot output enough power to properly charge this size powerbank so unless you leave it plugged in for weeks on end that is not a viable way to charge it. Your best bet is to use a charger that can output 5v 2.5 amps, this will charge it better, but still require a minimum of 5 to 10 hours to charge. Please plug the battery pack into a plug that is capable of ths kind out output and use a good cable as well and leave it to charge without interuption
Exactly what I did, I am charging it with 5v 2.5mA and within an hour it shows that it’s full and lights go off, tried 4 different chargers and same problem.
Take my word for it, it is not charged after an hour. Leave it plugged in overnight. If you uave to unplug and then plug it back in, but leave it charging for a minimum of 6 hours
Even if the lights turn off, I leave it on charge?
I want you to try something, take the cable and plug it into the usb port on the battery pack, then take the other wnd and plug it into the charging port on the same battery pack, basically create a loop as if the battery pack will charge itself. This forces a reset of the internals, once you do that then plug it in and charge it for a minimum of 6 hours
