Possible Anker Forum App?

This website is pretty buggy on my phone. Should Anker create an app? I have some experience creating Android apps and would love to help.

I agree. A native application would make engagement so much easier. Push notifications would be cool too

Might be a good idea, but is the forum site really there yet? They just launched it! Perhaps they should give it some time to “bloom” first before taking the next step of creating an app.

I was thinking that an app that access a mobile optimized site with navigation bars (buttons leading to links) leading to different topics would be good for a start. A developer license is only $25 for Android and $99 for Apple…

I think a case of let’s learn to walk before running would be best here. Maybe once the web forum (which in my opinion is best for reading large threads in context) is on it’s feet and to an extent monitored/organised, they might try an app.

yeah it’s not a bad idea at all, I do agree with ndalby though. Also see how much traffic the forum gets after the contest is over. Also monitor usage on average over time. Who knows it might warrant an app. I’m enjoying the conversations on here so far. I am an electronics geek and feel I am surrounded with others with the same passion.

If they do make an app, it should be for the community and Anker.com and it should show the precentage of your portable charger in the bar at the top of your phone when it’s connected
