It’s been over 2 months since Pokemon GO came out. Is everyone still playing this game? I’ve had my phone for 2 years so the battery capacity is already diminished. With the addition of Pokemon GO I have to walk around like this…

LOL! That may be just a little bit of overkill.
I still play occasionally, but the initial thrill has worn off.
Ha, that is great! I still play daily, but I definitely need to bring a power bank along. I think I’m wearing out my phone’s battery as well.
Thats still better than the man I saw here locally carrying around a little 1000Watt gasoline generator. Talking about being determined to “catch them all”

It does chew the phone battery somewhat. When i’m out with the kids, they often look like they’re on leads as I’m holding the battery pack and the kids are holding the phones while being charged. I’ve just bought the powercore+ 26800 with the 25% discount that anker were offering yesterday, my 3/4 year old anker 10000mah battery is getting a little old and can’t keep going long enough, it drains to empty so fast it seems… well having two phones playing pokemon go attached to it can’t help lol

Nope, it was only for a day. There is a new powercore 26800 which is actually IMHO the best 26800mAH battery in the range. I didn’t realise that the powercore+ 26800 has only a 3A output which means if you have more than one iPhone/iPad/device capable of using more than 1A charge, you won’t get the fastest charge time, but the new powercore 26800 has 6A output so with 3 devices plugged in you get 2A on each port so that iPads and iPhones can all charge at full speed and two inputs for charging so that if you have 2 lots of 2A chargers, e.g. 2 iPad chargers or an anker usb 5 or 6 port charger, you can fully recharge the battery in half the time of the ones with one charging port. If you were thinking of a high capacity charger, i highly recommend you have a look at the powercore 26800 instead of the powercore+ 26800

buddy you’re a lucky man, they’d all been claimed before i noticed. I was so bothered abt the output ampage that i have instigated a return via amazon (as recommended by the great people at anker) and i’ve ordered a PowerCore 26800, should get here on Monday. Looking forward to be able to charge all my apple devices at once at full speed.

Oh you will enjoy it it fully charged from half in about 2 hours. Pretty nice to finally have fast charging of the actual battery rather than just the device you are charging with the portable battery. Seems like a no brainer to have fast recharge of the battery itself and now I only see it getting better after the powercore 26800.
I second PC 26800… No more having multiple battery packs in my bag, I love it.
Now only if I can catch 200 more Magikarp.
I’m still enjoying Pokemon GO, but keep running out of pokeballs! There are no pokestops at my work, but pokemon spawn all the time.
I’ve met a fair few people out and about playing it, and know for a fact I have been responsibly for 6 people buying Anker powercore’s after them seeing mine!
I haven’t plaued in a while. I’m level 16. I don’t think they’ve done enough update wise to keep my interest.
Once you get a phone that has QC3.0 or USB-C and an charger/battery pack that supports the same fast charge method, charging becomes less of a hassle. My PowerCore+ 20100 USB-C helps with 3A charging a Nexus 6P.
I managed to snag a Pokemon GO Plus the same week it was released. Saves even more battery (50-60%) and lets you keep the phone’s screen off and tracks your distance. But, the catch rate is pretty bad at give or take 50%. To be honest at least it helps with hatching eggs, getting stops, and catches more Pokemon than I could in day (unless you have a desk job).
For real! It is taking me forever to evolve my Magikarp!

Quick charge is the main reason I am probably going to buy the new Google Pixel phone when it comes out. Even though my Nexus 5 still feels modern and quick compared to other phones of the same age, I’m craving the new tech!
Has everyone seen the latest update? You get an extra bonus for the first capture and PokeStop you visit each day.
