HI all,
This might be a question for @AnkerTechnical or @AnkerOfficial though I suspect @joshuad11 @TechnicallyWell @nigelhealy @tiagomota @Jesse_Hernandez1 and others might know as well.
So I have the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 and an Anker PowerPort Solar 21w. My question is: can I safely charge this battery with this solar panel?
I’m inclined to think I can, since it’s usually not an issue to provide a slower charge than a given device can handle. However, I don’t want to damage either the solar panel or the battery bank. The weird thing about the speed 20000 is that the PD input is also an output, so I’m wondering if that complicates things in terms of whether or not there’s a certain threshold for power ingestion on the battery. The solar panel will be variable in its output as well. I know that the other micro input batteries handle this just fine. Is there any difference between them and the USB-C PD input batteries in this regard?
More generally, can we charge our USB-C PD Anker batteries with slower than PD chargers?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
