One camera stopped working

One of my cameras has stopped working and the message tells me that it needs updating, yet it also tells me that the Firmware is up to date. I take it down, put it on charge and then after a few minutes the system will find it again, but then once I mount the camera back up outside it loses signal once more. What do I need to do?

Have you tried adjusting the distance between the camera and the Homebase?
