I have scrolled through many questions on here about HDMI issues. And now I have one also. I have been using my Nvidia Shield with mine for the past 3 weeks, and today it refused to recognise the HDMI cable.
And have tried several solutions: changed cables, changed devices plugged in, checked all firm wear…
Anyone any ideas?
Which Nebula are you using? And jave you checked o rried using the shield on something other than the nebula to rule out that it could be an issue with the shield itself
Hmm I guess make sure the HDMI port is not dusty or have any debris

So it looks like while updating the shield, while connected to another Android device, Nebula II, it bricked the shield TV 
Hoping there is an RMA on the way, doubt it
Why would you update anything while connected to something else? Common sense tells you not to do this due to issues thag may arrise when updating, which you do at your own risk. Not for nothing but it is your own fault for doing this

Really? how do you update your PC? not connected to the monitor? The Shield TV need to be connected to update, otherwise how do I see the screen to update it all??

Sorry for my ignorance, what shield product are you talking about? I dont know why i initially thought you had the shield tablet hence my prior statement. But regardless, a quick search online shows that a number of people have had updates brick their shield. Occasionally booting into recovery would allow for the uodate to happen again and other instances they had to get a rma.
