This seems a fair option… Show the winners’ Community user accounts even if it is random selection. But my gut feeling somehow says this may not happen (I really wish i am proved wrong )
NEW Spirit Dot 2 | Get Moving For Just $1
Guess we will have to see and see lol
You know they rarely post the winners from these types of contest, privacy reasons and all. At best they block out the first half of their email and just post the rest like they also have done in the past.
But by signing up for their news letter they are Essentially signing up for an account thus making them a member of the community automatically, even though they don’t enter a password
Sorry @Tank - that is not true. By submitting email, it does not sign up an account on Anker / Soundcore community . I can make a video and submit here for proof, but I believe any of you can test it for yourself.
@Tank @ikari04warrior @Shenoy
I’m sure I’m the past (early days) they listed users email/account name is a winners list.
Perhaps the hype of GDPR has put an end to that.
But as it says community members only, and all community members names at least are visible, there shouldn’t be a reason not to post a winners list.
Be interesting to see how this plays out, and this time there isn’t the line about Anker having the final decision etc like in other promo’s
@paulstevenewing Anker (eufy Security community) recently announced the winners in form of email IDs ( check here) and this was not limited to US, included UK and other countries too i believe.
So may be the 50 selected users can still be revealed via cryptic email addresses irrespective of GDPR or privacy rules. Using community usernames would be better, so we really know it was community users out of who 50 winners were chosen
Also, I am not sure if "Anker has explanation for final decision " clause makes any difference to this competition, it is a giveaway - Anker / Soundcore, a gift ( $1 plus taxes &shipping as applicable) so they still don’t need to clarify their decision. Whoever wins, will really be lucky
Best of luck to everyone,
They always obfuscated the winner email addresses.
Unless… they filter to match community member emails at the back-end…
Hopefully they do filter but one good thing is that even though the link here has 33k+ clicks the link on soundcore’s website only has 402 clicks
That shows the Soundcore forum doesnt have much activity then @Kule_Zaney
To be fair i never visit, I’m invested here so will continue.
If soundcore questions come here then why bother going there?
Just realised I entered with a different email address then that which my account is associated with. Glad I caught that now
I very much doubt it matters. I don’t speak from knowledge but gut, which can be wrong.
The probabilities are low. I doubt Anker actually checks. To a signifcant degree Anker wants net new real people to win.
For example read the career accomplishments of
So it is net new is the measure of success. From a business, revenue, perspective, someone with plenty of Anker has their existing spend with Anker competing with making the attraction of buying more harder, than someone net new who gets a free Spirit Dot 2 and likes it and buys a lot more Anker.
The winners will be announced on Monday in the core update on the soundcore forum. So I assume they will be announcing the account names, not the email addresses.
I’ll just enter my other email to be safe. I don’t think it would be considered cheating.
Depends Paul,
I got time enough to visit both.
But I am a pensioner a lot of leisure time.
I have split time between Anker and Soundcore communities.Earlier was more on Anker . Interesting discussions on both…
Hope I get the chance to try these!
GL to everyone
Fingers crossed
Will the winners list get posted or just an email notification @AnkerOfficial do you know?
Anyone had a lucky email?
