NEW Spirit Dot 2 | Get Moving For Just $1
31072 clicks. How is it measured? Is that clicks from this page, so not including those from other sources?
So actual entries could be much higher, clicks from email, Twittard and Facebutt?
50 of 31072 is very low chances obviosly.
These are clicks ONLY on this Anker community page here… There will be many more entries going directly to the event page hosted on Soundcore.com
Entries are being directed to this link from Anker community, Soundcore community, Twitter/Instagram /Facebook handles of Anker and Soundcore accounts plus the retweets/shares by fans, targeted emails (I am yet to receive any email so far… )
So chances are 50 out of a huge number, much more than, whatever click number is shown on this community page link… So chances are very very very low (until you, yourself win, of course )
Quite frankly, I have no hopes of winning. This gives a better feeling than to feel bad if i dont win (I never win these kind of mass competition, may be due to luck or may be due to the email bug going on for my account – either ways I lose )
Well that mean people who are not community members came here and clicked, as not as many as that have visited this last week.
In the rules it states for community members, but feel like there might not be many community members that win.
I see a serious flaw with this rule… “Limited to community members only.”
There is nothing that Soundcore has done to force the user clicking on the link to join the community… The way things are happening, anyone entering the link will enter the event.
Tested the link in incognito mode, I can enter any email and submit, that’s it and i am entered.
Chances are high - non-members might get selected and win (unless Soundcore does an entered Email ID match to community user email… Which i doubt )
Lol at twittard and facebutt
I wish they would enforce that rule, let only active community members win
I guess come the end and the winners list is posted here we should be able to search the username?
Here is my opinion: they should look for the most active community members (about 30 or so), get their emails, select those, and then give the rest randomly.
I know they won’t do it but but wouldn’t it be nice?
This seems a fair option… Show the winners’ Community user accounts even if it is random selection. But my gut feeling somehow says this may not happen (I really wish i am proved wrong )
Guess we will have to see and see lol
You know they rarely post the winners from these types of contest, privacy reasons and all. At best they block out the first half of their email and just post the rest like they also have done in the past.
But by signing up for their news letter they are Essentially signing up for an account thus making them a member of the community automatically, even though they don’t enter a password
Sorry @Tank - that is not true. By submitting email, it does not sign up an account on Anker / Soundcore community . I can make a video and submit here for proof, but I believe any of you can test it for yourself.
@Tank @ikari04warrior @Shenoy
I’m sure I’m the past (early days) they listed users email/account name is a winners list.
Perhaps the hype of GDPR has put an end to that.
But as it says community members only, and all community members names at least are visible, there shouldn’t be a reason not to post a winners list.
Be interesting to see how this plays out, and this time there isn’t the line about Anker having the final decision etc like in other promo’s
@paulstevenewing Anker (eufy Security community) recently announced the winners in form of email IDs ( check here) and this was not limited to US, included UK and other countries too i believe.
So may be the 50 selected users can still be revealed via cryptic email addresses irrespective of GDPR or privacy rules. Using community usernames would be better, so we really know it was community users out of who 50 winners were chosen
Also, I am not sure if "Anker has explanation for final decision " clause makes any difference to this competition, it is a giveaway - Anker / Soundcore, a gift ( $1 plus taxes &shipping as applicable) so they still don’t need to clarify their decision. Whoever wins, will really be lucky
Best of luck to everyone,
They always obfuscated the winner email addresses.
Unless… they filter to match community member emails at the back-end…
Hopefully they do filter but one good thing is that even though the link here has 33k+ clicks the link on soundcore’s website only has 402 clicks
That shows the Soundcore forum doesnt have much activity then @Kule_Zaney
To be fair i never visit, I’m invested here so will continue.
