New sound from RoboVac G30

I purchased a G30 RoboVac (I was part of the pre-release discount program) and it has been fabulous. However, today it has developed a “clunking” noise that I think is coming from the side brush area (It has the same frequency as the movement of the brush). Even with the side brush and roller brush removed the sound persists. I have attached a link to a video w/ the RoboVac in spot cleaning mode without the side brush or roller brush so you can hear it.

The shaft that comes out of the vacuum where the side brush attaches is clean and free of string etc.

Any ideas?

When I try to open the website with your video I get a security warning
from firefox not do do it.

Thanks for catching that. Should be an http link. Fixed in the original

The link works now. :grinning:
The RoboVac
Seems to be an issue with the gears, causing that “klack, klack, klack”!

Needs some further investigation.
I would check the side brushes.
Could be something loose there.
But you know diagnosis without the “patient” is not so useful.
“Happy Easter” from München!

Thanks! Removing the side brushes makes no change to the sound . I had also emailed Eufy support and they just responded. They agree that it is likely the side brush motor and they are sending out a new motor.

That’s fine.
There are videos how to disassemble and replace the motor.
I am sure you will be able to do that.
The motor can be replaced as w whole.
Needs not to be opened and tinkering around with that gears.
