Been waiting for this release. $30 is a little much but it does have a lifetime warranty.

I don’t know about it being next, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it show up

They gave away latest released Trance for testing event… Anything is possible with Anker :star_struck::star_struck::star_struck:

I think you’re missing @Shenoy’s point…

Probably.

Do you happen to know why it’s only USB 2.0? Seems a little strange

Well I’m excited it’s finally out for USB C users, I’ll have to wait for a price drop. Seems like a great cable though

There is not necessarily a difference between the charging speeds of USB 2.0 and 3.0+ cables. In this case, there is because the max is 60W, but some 2.0 cables go up to 100W, so for those who don’t care about data transfer speeds, USB 2.0 is a cheaper solution. I’m also not sure if USB 3.1 Gen 2 is even possible in 6’ long cables.

I’m sure Anker will release a version with faster data transfer (and charging) speeds soon, but it will probably be only 3’ long.

I wasn’t referring to charging speeds.

Unless I am mistaken (which there is a decent chance of) USB-b 2/3 never correlates to charging speeds.

I’m just saying that for $30 I would expect USB 3.0 (or 3.1) with faster data transfer speeds :man_shrugging:.

That means that to get 3.0 or 3.1 you will have to pay $35+. That’s a decent chunk of cash for a USB-C cable

Guess this is one is for charging purposes. For data transfer you won t have fun with USB 2.0

If this cables pricing is like all the other Anker products it should drop by 30% or so in price in a few weeks. I would expect it to cost 19.99

I’d pay the same 19.99 for a 3’ 3.1 cable and 25$ for a 3’ or whatever the max length is thunderbolt cable of this quality

I think we can all agree on the the cable being a bit pricey
