New Original 3D printed Anker Accessory - Powerport Mini, Astro, and Phone Holder

I designed and printed this holder for an Astro E1, a phone (in this case a Galaxy S9 plus, but I think other phones would fit), and the powerport mini I was playing on my fusion frog idea but with a set of stuff my partner uses regularly. The astro and powerport mini are the things she carries all the time. I also added some cable management stuff to the side of the holder. There are opening in the bottom as well, so you can put the phone and the astro in the holder then plug in from beneath. Check it out:

It lets you charge your phone and your battery on one socket while keeping everyhting organized and off the floor! What do you think?

Pretty neat. Great idea.

Thats a very cool design. Since the guides holding everything is decently thick to support and also somewhat a tight fit are you seeing any heat issues? Something like that has my diy senses tingling.

No heat issues yet. The ngen colorfab melts at 230 c so you’d have to get really hot to damage the plastic. I could add ventilation to the next iteration of the holder… That would save on plastic and matintain the tight fit. The problem is that the things tend to fall out easily if the fit isn’t tight to hold them in there. I was thing about adding a second piece on a hinge to kind of close them in there anyway.

I’m pretty close to opening my own 3d printing biz. Not sure I should advertise it on anker forums though…I think that would be breaking one of the community rules. I’ll find some other way to get the word out if/when I do. For now it’s just a cool hobby :nerd:

Like the ventilation idea, I would be less concerned with the plastic frame (it does look quite durable) and more worried about enclosing devices like that. If you can avoid heating issues I could see a market for it (myself included). Nice job
